Front flight clasp for destroyer pilots in Gold, made of zinc with a very well-preserved gold plating. The crossed swords still have their original dark coloring. In very good condition with only minor signs of wear, as shown in the picture. The perforations for attaching additional hangers are present, a feature only found on gold clasps. This is an extremely rare, very late-issue badge; it was only made of zinc because it was produced so late in the war, making it arguably the rarest of all flight badges.
