Field police Gorget Wordworkfind

This is a field police Gorget in worn condition, which is extremely rare to find; most examples are unused US GI souvenirs. To find a truly worn as an attic find is exceptionally rare; this is not one of those pieces dug up from the ground, which are also occasionally found. It shows signs of wear and was found in an attic; there is some surface rust, mostly on the chain, but the body itself still has its original paint and the luminous paint is also in very good condition, as shown in the picture.
