Air Force visor cap Enlisted Man paratroopers / flying personnel

Air Force visor cap in the branch color golden yellow for paratroopers/flying personnel. The cap is actually in very good condition, without insignia; only the sweatband is brittle. It is complete, but a section is loose. There is no external damage. What I find particularly interesting is that material was already being saved on this very late cap. The piping below the wing, or rather the chin strap, was omitted during the manufacturing process. At first glance, it looks like damage, but on closer inspection, it’s clear that the cap was manufactured in its current state without this piece of piping.
