Reichswehr cavalry blouse for enlisted men RR14 / RR16

1.275,00

Reichswehr cavalry blouse for enlisted men in beautiful, only lightly worn condition. With acceptance stamp from 1924, which is a fairly early production and still shows many elements from the First World War. With wearer’s label from a rider in the reconnaissance squadron of the 14th Cavalry Regiment (Ludwigslust), but the shoulder boards are from the 16th Cavalry Regiment, which was garrisoned in Erfurt. I assume that this piece was once part of a theater stash, which would explain the blackened stamps and the mixture of shoulder boards and wearer’s label. The jacket shows slight signs of age, some of which were probably caused by theater use; in this condition it has become a very rare jacket to find.
